REGIONAL AWARDS
For achievements within Region 20, STARFLEET International for the period
1st January – 31st December 2022.
Recognising the achievements of our members is one of the most important things we can do. The Region 20 Annual Awards gives us the opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved in the past year, and to formally celebrate the work undertaken.
With the amendment to awards across the whole of SFI that were made in 2022, the process for nominating regional awards has been amended. The main change is that where awards are now available for Chapter Commanding Officers to award, the Chapter winner will become the Chapter’s nomination to the Region. In like fashion, the regional winners are automatically submitted as the regional nominations for the Fleet awards. Also included in this group of awards (designated Chapter Awards) are nominations for CO & XO, as past awards rounds have identified that nominations for a CO and XO come mainly from their own Chapter.
Awards that belong solely to Region 20 are designated Open Awards, and these will continue to be open for nomination from ANY member of Region 20 SFI ((with the sole exception of the chapter representatives on the awards panel).
Full information on the awards and the nominations process are below, but if you require any further information, please contact the Regional Awards Team at awards@20thfleet.org.uk
